Blown in cellulose fiber

We use the highest quality cellulose fiber available. We only use cellulose treated with boric acid for fire prevention and as a mold inhibitor.

Closed Cell Spray Foam

At Northwest Quality Insulation, we recommend the highest quality insulation method in todays market. Closed Cell Spray foam provides the highest value and outlasts all other forms of insulation commercially available. It is completely resistant to mold, rot or moisture. With an average R value of 6.5 to 7 per inch this is the best option for most applications.

Open Cell Spray Foam

Open cell spray foam is ranked #2 in our opinion for thermal protection. But it has its place where needed. For instance, Open Cell is much better at sound deadening and is more flexible where it can be installed, such as inside existing walls, or behind water pipes. It's not moisture resistant so it shouldn't be installed in any place that might get wet. It's also less expensive making it on par with rock wool and fiberglass insulation.

Crawlspace Encapsulation

We specialize in doing hybrid basement encapsulation which composes spray foaming the foundation walls on the inside with closed cell insulation, and lining the entire space floor with 20 mil polyethylene. The plastic is glued to the basement walls using spray foam making a continuous seal against moisture. The end result is the opposite of what most crawlspaces are known for, a clean fresh environment with no fear of mold or moisture coming in from the soil under the house.

Benefit of Closed Cell Foam Insulation

Closed cell foam insulation offers several key benefits, including superior thermal resistance, moisture resistance, and structural strength. Its dense, compact cells create a barrier that prevents air and water infiltration, making it ideal for areas prone to humidity or extreme weather. Additionally, closed cell foam enhances the overall durability of a building by increasing its rigidity and reducing energy costs.

Superior Insulation Efficiency

At NorthWest Quality Insulation, our closed cell foam offers excellent thermal resistance with an R-value of 6.5 to 7 per inch on average. This ensures stable indoor temperatures and reduced energy costs, while also strengthening the building’s structure for added durability.

Moisture Control and Protection

Our closed cell foam serves as a reliable vapor barrier, preventing moisture infiltration and reducing the risk of mold and water damage. This is especially beneficial in humid climates, protecting both the building and its occupants.

Versatile Applications

Ideal for roofs, walls, floors, and spaces like crawlspaces, our closed cell foam insulation prevents air and moisture infiltration.
